Our Construction Management program was set up in 1976 by Kers Clausen while completing his master’s degree in Construction Management at the University of California at Berkeley. The program has evolved to include projects for the maritime industry, food processing plants, residential construction, warehouses, manufacturing plants, institutions, and tenant improvements projects. Our program allows the owner to sign separate subcontracts to retain financial control of the project. Our Construction Managers are prepared to work on the job or in our office to coordinate the contractors, creating a team where communication regarding design and construction is central. This system gives the owner flexibility to get involved in as many details of the project as desired. We have used this system repeatedly to complete projects across the country and overseas.
Our Construction Management program gives us the tools to accurately budget construction costs, and allows the owner to be involved in the project from beginning to end. Proper budgeting of a project directs the Project Manager on the design and construction phases of the project.
Our program enables the owner to interact directly with service related trades such as electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration. Using our expertise, the owner has the ability to hire proven companies to perform the construction of these trade items.
